Donate to Peachtree Chapel

Peachtree Chapel (of the Interfaith Union) will be based in Long Island. Presently, we are looking for the right incubator site in either Nassau County or Suffolk County. Because we want to make the Peachtree experience special, we wish to provide the best and most aesthetically pleasing and spiritually rich environment we can. We feel this is important. In addition, we wish to have the best lighting, the best sound system, the best clarion, the best votive stands and the best seating we possibly can. We also wish to provide space for those of different traditions to pray, and to provide prayer rugs and private prayer spaces for those who attend for Vespers and other services. This space will be special, and it will be for you. The only activities that will take place in the Peachtree sanctuary will be of a spiritual nature, and the sanctury will never be used for any other purposes.

In addition, Peachtree will have separate offices and meeting spaces that will be devoted to mentoring programs, internships for college students majoring in religion and related disciplines, and publishing in connection with the inclusive interfaith message explicated elsewhere on this site. The space will also be used for training ministers and for teaching others interested in learning more about other faiths, the history or religions, and the power of progressive religious voices in the modern world.

Want to help? Please send your donations in the amount of $25 or more to:

The Interfaith Union for Progressive Religion
110 Millet Street North
Dix Hills, NY 11746
(Make your check payable to "DMA" and write Peachtree on the memo line)

You will receive a receipt within seven calendar days and, if you wish, your name will be posted with other donors on the web site, along with totals collected and information about the funds are being used. Once the 501(c)(3) designation is finalized, you may be able to take a tax deduction for your contribution.

Thank You

David E. McClean, Minister & Founder, The Interfaith Union
